My forum website was previously built using the Flarum framework. In early June, I made a decision: to migrate to the Discourse framework. I had previously purchased a server to test this forum framework and found that the mobile UX was even better than Flarum’s. The reason the migration hadn’t happened before was the high annual cost. Now that I’ve migrated, the experience has improved significantly; the AI features mean I no longer have to worry about content safety or translation issues. So, if I were to choose a forum framework to start a forum, I would still choose Discourse!
