Some fanatical types will want to read every post on a forum. I certainly do. Currently the way to do this is to go in User Preferences and manually enter every category into the “Tracked” box. People are complaining all the time when I delete a post that they still receive a notification, then they get annoyed that it is for a deleted post. When you go to create a new category inside of the Parent Category dropdown it is including the Sub Categories.
