Two thoughts here:
- This could easily be a problem check that will add an admin notice to the dashboard.
- The code knows when you’re running out of disk space and disables the setting. But the code also knows when you have enough disk space and should in theory be able to start downloading again. This would require a different source of truth, however, since the code doesn’t know that the setting is intended to be enabled.
