I’m getting a forum up and running and would like moderators, or another staff level, to be able to make categories. Admin level gives too many abilities for some and could result in messing up the site. Is there a way to give moderators this ability? Or to make a new staff position somewhere betwee…

Thanks! I wasn’t sure if it allowed creation or just managing. Thanks for clarifying

That’s a good point. :slightly_smiling_face: I’ll see if we can update the description to something more like: Allow moderators to create and manage categories and groups

Seems like a good clarification for the setting description; I’ve updated it here: https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/16492
