Read Only Modes in Discourse

@SaraDev

2. User Read Only-Mode

• Restricts standard users from performing write operations like posting, liking, or modifying profiles.
• Allows Admin and Moderator activities to continue normally.

3. Staff Writes Only-Mode

• Permits only staff members (Admin and Moderators) to write to the forum.
• Standard users are limited to read operations.

I can’t see a difference! Could these descriptions be tweaked accordingly, if indeed there is a difference?
