it’s supported by this component to highlight something in topic but this component just allow specific syntax something i want to highlight is there some component or plugin to support other syntax ? I mean i am asking for the ability to use specific Markdown syntax ==highlighted text== to highlight text (supported by some markdown editor like typora, obsidian), as opposed to other syntax like highlighted text or BBCode. ==another thing i want to highlight== [image] [image]

There are plugins for bbcode/bbcode color. There is also a theme component to add color. So if you use bgcolor(background color) is one method of highlighting if using Dark mode you may want to also use color to set text color.

I think they are asking for the ability to use specific Markdown syntax ==highlighted text== to highlight text, as opposed to other syntax like highlighted text or BBCode.

I believe you would need a plugin for that. It might be interesting to make one with standard Markdown plugins (you can see them on the demo at https://markdown-it.github.io/).
