Custom topic ordering

I have also had this need, and work around the current limitations by doing this:

  1. Setting a Category so it sorts by created date
  2. Change the date/time of each topic so that they are ordered as I wish

Now it is obvious that only an admin can do this - and the dates/times do become a bit confusing. So it isn’t ideal!

It would certainly be a worthy feature request (i.e. in Contribute > Feature).
