IIRC there are push notifications on PWAs. Perhaps try the Discourse app? That one definitely comes with push notifications.
Did you enable the notifications permission on your browser and in /my/preferences/notifications?

I did find it, iOS has to be added to the home screen to get notifications. And I can share the apk from android on my site to make it easier for Android users, Thank you for the help!!!

PWA on android does not seem to receive notifications unless any discourse app is launched. How to solve?
It had worked in the past when first turned on, but recently, it’s not fulfilling the “push” of push notifications.
I think there’s a rumour feature. Like if you have the app open with 5 minutes it won’t send the notification. You can change it in settings to a smaller number. Maybe that’s your issue?
The push time window in minutes is the default at 1.
There is activity that has elapsed hours on end that i do not receive. I see them pop up only as i launch a discourse app, confusingly.
Notice i say discourse app, as it doesnt matter which forum. As long as it is discourse, i will get notifications of both.
Oh weird, I got your notification. From it, maybe it’s your power settings on your phone. Maybe background something is turned off.
