Allow @mention notifications in muted topics?

[Ethsim2 (Ethan)]

I’m yet to see a suppression plugin that removes it’s suppressed contents from search results. However, i understand if a user mutes a topic they don’t see it listed anywhere.

I would just like to add that users using an @mention are made aware if the user does not receive a notification because they have muted the topic.

i didn’t know about this one and never seen that notice. I suppose this reinforces that if suppressed for a user the mention still gets through to that user.
