Thanks for the response. I was aware of the subs model via the subs plugin but this is a model that might encourage user content creation and loyalty of both top creators and readers alike.
It is more more nuanced that sub support for the site, but hey the highlights the potential to add a Tax / Commission component to the tip-button use it to also help fund hosting etc. and who doesn’t love a bit of TAX! 
Declaring soveringhty will be next are there any components for that?
