Your post doesn’t sound rude, I liked the part about peeing in the shower
I translated the entire discussion through the browser translator (which I assume is also a type of AI), and that didn’t kill the fun and meaningfulness. I remember what level machine translation was at one time. You write “Pear” in your language, and the machine translates it as “Horse” in a foreign language. Which was funny to some extent, but also caused problems. I’m currently testing AI automatic translation, from English to Bulgarian and vice versa, it does a good job. But yes, you’re right about cultural differences, what’s funny in Bulgaria may not be funny at all in England or the States. But still. AI is developing very quickly, and that’s somewhat frightening, I admit. We’ve all watched Terminator (right?). But in the interest of truth, if you use AI as a tool, and not as a replacement for humans, then I don’t see what problem there could be.
