Continuing the discussion from Sort display of topics Alphabetically: [image]Sort display of topics Alphabetically I checked in with @tgxworld and it seems like doing order:title wasn’t too difficult, and he has made an addition is pending review and merge. Hi, it seems like you had planned to integrate the order:title into the /filter feature which is now rolled out, but I still cannot find it or use it. Based on previous staff responses from your team, this seems a touchy subject here which baffles my mind. Ordering topics alphabetically seems like a perfectly reasonable request and something with this new filter option should be quite easy to accomplish and was (is?) on the hit list. Any update or progress on this? My users consistently request to be able to order topics alphabetically.

If you go to /filter?q=order%3Atitle-asc (order:title-asc filter), topics are sorted A-Z. The filter order:title will sort Z-A instead. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. I do not have the order:title filter option. I copy pasted your suggestion to test along with adjusting it on my end to try to make it work. the /filter feature does not seem to have an order:title option. Is this something only available to those on Discourse’s hosting? Edit: It does not seem to work on my end here on this site (meta.discourse.org) trying the /filter order:title. That indicates to me that it is not a feature that is currently being offered.

Ah I’m now seeing the issue. I was trying to use the filter via the search bar rather than in the dedicated filter section. The small filter icon in your screenshot helped to resolve my confusion. Much appreciated. Please close/delete topic at your convenience staff
