Two questions about the tags

1. Tags seem to be forced to lowercase. When I try to create a tag with uppercase letters, like DomainInvesting, it automatically gets saved and displayed as domaininvesting.
2. Periods (.) seem to be stripped from tags. I tried to create tags for specific domain extensions. For example, when I entered the tag .com, it was automatically saved as com. The leading period was removed.

That depends on the Force lowercase tags site setting.
