If I have, say, a documentation post with a timer to remove all replies after x days, is it possible to prevent selected posts from being deleted? I don’t see the option, but maybe it’s called something I’m not expecting. In the case I have now, I simply cut and pasted the material into the original post. Sorry if this has been asked before. It feels familiar but searching turned up nothing.

There is Skip auto delete reply likes [Screenshot_20251002_123831_Firefox] It’s helpful for the community to decide on important replies. Not sure if it’s that helpful for your use case

Ah, that’s what I had seen before but didn’t remember exactly what it was. No, that wouldn’t help in my case, but maybe that’s all there is. Thank you!

[image] one1: is it possible to prevent selected posts from being deleted? Out of curiosity what is the nature of the posts that you would want to preserve?

Information that is related to the main post and is more important than the general back and forth people might comment. I guess I could just manually delete the other posts, but it would be much better to be able to pin the important ones.

[image] one1: it would be much better to be able to pin the important ones. It isn’t currently possible to “pin” replies to have them not be deleted, but I can see that might be a useful feature request. Feel free to start a topic in #feature to ask for it so it can be voted on and discussed.
