Are there any working solutions to getting push notifications via self hosting on the Discourse Hub app? The only plugins I can find are broken, and I haven’t see any info on it in quite a few years.
On Android, Discourse hub will rely on the installed PWAs, so they will get the native web push notification supported by Discourse on all platforms.
On iOS, Discourse Hub won’t have push notifications for self-hosters. Alternatively we support web push notifications for PWAs on iOS.

Is this true for Android users? I have a self hosted setup, and my users who use android are saying they get no push notifications through the discourse hub app. If they use the PWA trick with a shortcut from their browser to their homescreen, they only get push notifications if they had opened it in the last 15 minutes or so.
Is this potentially a server configuration issue or reverse proxy issue cutting connections after X time?
