❤ in js.signup_cta.value_prop in Japanese and Chinese

In English the :heart: emoji in js.signup_cta.value_prop is replaced by

But here on Meta that doesn’t seem to work in Chinese and Japanese

The reason why I am posting this in Contribute > Site feedback is that it seems to work fine on my forum:

That is strange! I will ask around.

It’s easy to repro. Just read a few topics on meta and wait for the signup CTA to show up, confirm the is showing correctly, then switch to Japanese or Chnese, and confirm the heart is showing up as :heart:emoji.

I think this might be Enable inline emoji translation. Toggling that on my site flips between having the versus :heart: for the Japanese translation.
