I saw threads about implementing helpscout or other customer support widgets on a discourse forum, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a similar cs chat tool that will use existing discourse topics to generate suggested answers prior to connecting you with a human? This would be on a non discourse site. Example: openai has their discourse community here: https://community.openai.com/ , you could imagine that it might be a smoother experience if when you’re on https://platform.openai.com/ and had questions, you could ask a little chat widget that would query their discourse first, then if there wasn’t a relevant topic, connect you with a rep or suggest you start a topic.

Perhaps the Discourse MCP can be used to search the forum and find relevant topics?

Vielleicht kann Discourse MCP verwendet werden, um das Forum zu durchsuchen und relevante Themen zu finden?
