iOS Discourse App – Automatic Zooming Issue on PeptidePrice Community. I’m experiencing a persistent issue with the Discourse iOS app, but only when using the PeptidePrice community. The problem does not occur in any other community on the app, and everything works normally when accessing PeptidePrice through Safari or Chrome. Issue Description Whenever I: • tap “Create Topic”, or • tap the search bar, or • place the cursor into any text field, the screen automatically zooms in. The page becomes too large to view properly, and I have to pinch-zoom out every time. As soon as I start typing, the page zooms in again. Important Notes • The issue happens only on the PeptidePrice community inside the Discourse app. • No other community shows this behavior. • Browsers (Safari/Chrome) have no zoom issue at all. • iPhone: iOS 26.x using the Discourse app. Possible for a fix? i would really appreciate that, here a quick video so it can give you a idea https://vimeo.com/1140168124?share=copy&fl=cl&fe=ci

Hello @RomeoArabov I’m not sure, because I can’t login to the site (they are not hosted by us afaik), but it could be that they are using a smaller than usual font-size, which will force a zoom-in specifically on Safari. It is odd that normal browser-safari works for you though, but it still very much sounds like that issue. When you say Discourse app, do you mean the Hub, downloaded from the App Store, or the PWA?

https://community.peptideprice.store add to discourse hub app, and you can access thank you for your help

I found the community, but it’s not open to anonymous viewers and I don’t want to make an account. Since we are not hosting them, and the problem does not persist in other communities you visit, it might be helpful to alert the admins of the forum about the problem.

i did asked the admin last week but didn’t get any awnser from them, maybe they don’t know what cause the issue

@chapoi hi, i found the root cause of the issue my text size was set to “smallest” on the discourse hub app from the preferences/ interface, this isssue was coming from there, is also happen when i set it to “small” but don’t have any issues when i set my text size to “ normal” i believe the issue coming from the app itself, and not from the communities, not sure if there is any fix for that? because i would like to set the text to “ smallest “ Thank you for your time

Hi, No sorry, this is purely an iOS/safari issue. They insist on enacting this zooming behaviour when a font-size is smaller than 16px (which is the normal default). It’s completely outside our control.

thank you for the info, but even i’m on the Discourse Hub App it is still related to safari issue?

i understand and thank you for the quick response really appreciate your time
