Thank you @pfaffman, @Moin, and @chapoi - I really appreciate the fact you took the time to reply and help me out.
After a while of dillydallying I decided to live on the edge (as Jay put it, haha) and just do it on the live site. I then fumbled my way through updating the form’s CSS and JS using some help from a couple of LLMs and some posts on this site. Amazingly, I’ve ended up with something not half bad.
