Sad to hear this. Thanks to everyone who’s helped make Discourse what it is - hope you’re all ok, you should all be proud - Discourse is the best forum platform around and has been for some time now.
Not sure if Sam, Sarah and the test of the team have considered it already but have you thought about starting a support sub? Many platforms offer various levels of support, you could maybe have a $49 p/a and $99 p/a tier? Totally separate from your hosting business and more of a way for people to support Discourse than actually get any benefits.
I subscribe to similar projects (some offer non-OS versions for the sub) but I just do it as a way to support them. I am sure lots of people would consider it. You have 60K members here so it could be a non-insignificant additional income stream…
