Here’s what’s happening:
When I open the composer and click GIF , the Tenor popup shows up fine.
I type any word (for example: happy).
It only shows a small set of GIFs.
When I scroll down, nothing new loads – it just stops.
If I change the keyword, I still get about the same number of GIFs, and scrolling still doesn’t load more.
Tested on:
Same behavior on both, so it looks like the Tenor integration isn’t fetching/refreshing more results when you scroll.

I have noticed the same here on Meta (I think Tenor is used here too) and on my forum which currently uses GIPHY. Loading more GIFs on scroll seems to be broken.

Confirmed, this is pretty buggy at the moment:
Double scrollbar and not “loading more”
We will see if we can improve it a bit over the upcoming weeks.

main ← fix/reactive-infinite-loading
merged 06:56PM - 22 Dec 25 UTC
Ensure `didUpdate` reacts to content length changes for proper reactivity, and o… ptimize rendering by adding a `key` to `@content` iteration.
Correct the spinner's visibility logic by using the accurate `@loading` state passed from the modal.
The PR above will address the issue.

Thank you.
I updated the component and, to my delight, I no longer have to choose from the first results.

Thanks @saquetim , fix looks great. I noticed some extra scrollbars on desktop, large window size, added a fix for that here: UX: Fix GIF modal width and height by pmusaraj · Pull Request #106 · discourse/discourse-gifs · GitHub
