I can’t reproduce this issue in the latest version of Discourse.
Meta has more groups that are visible only to team members, and I can’t reproduce the issue here.
I’ll keep an eye out for it, but it appears this issue was already handled.
The OSM forum is running our stable branch, so it’s a little behind on some fixes.
It should be gone once we cut a new stable version and they perform the update.
