I searched on the word “provenance” because I’m interested in discovering what Discourse has available (can/could/is doing) around C2PA, or similar.
The important aspect, which you may have partially built here (albeit directed towards your fact map) is…
- manifest generation
- the following cryptographic signing
- some sort of embedding/watermarking
- and then distribution (with the asset)
- and finally presentation for verification
