In RTL contexts, the @ symbol in mentions like `@english_user` was rendered on t…he wrong side of the username (appearing as `english_user@`). This happened because the @ symbol is a Unicode "neutral" character that inherits its directionality from the surrounding text. When embedded in RTL content, the BiDi algorithm would push it to the right of LTR usernames. Adding `unicode-bidi: plaintext` to the mention mixin makes the browser determine the text direction from the mention's content rather than inheriting from the parent.
