Before I joined the company, I would sometimes spend an inordinate amount of time here on meta, occasionally while standing in line waiting to order coffee.
My partner would look over my shoulder sometimes while I had my phone out and see what I was doing and mutter to me “Discuss the Discourse…” in a hum drum voice to make fun of me.
We do our best to avoid designing the product in ways that avoid encouraging that type of addictive behavior, but it’s still hard sometimes to stop geeking out with the community here.
Glad to have you with us, but remember to take breaks too.
Take a walk, get some fresh air, hang out with people you know and people you don’t know.
