We are a new install with the latest release, and activated the Subscriptions plugin, and we’re getting this error message. Error loading route
Caused by plugin ‘discourse-subscriptions’
Subscriptions version: 2.8.1 Preinstalled
Any help on what to look for to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. This is all new to us, we need a “Student Driver” placed on the back of our car!

So did you set up your payment gateway system with stripe and the necessary webhooks? you need those before you fill out the settings for the subscriptions plugin - there is a settings button next to where you enabled it on the plugin page - this will take you to the settings you need to complete to get the plugin to work properly. be sure to read this topic carefully.
Would it not be possible to catch this error and check that the Subscription plugin is correctly configured rather than falling back to a Rails routing error and even experienced Discourse admins scratching their heads?
