Closed events don't display in the upcoming-events calendar - I think they should!

simply hide the old events (at least on the yearly calendar) using CSS to achieve the same thing.

Perhaps this Close event functionality should be rebranded as Hide instead (and depowered a bit?

Or do we need a seperate Hide functionality?

depends what the retrospective impact would be…
