Easily create Events categories using the Calendar and Events plugin

Frankly for a subset of the categories, the users found the calendar distracting on their phones anyway, but it’d be great to have a way to see the calendar of events created in the category without always showing it.

I think that you have nailed this on the head. I’d certainly like to see a calendar which is compact (and concealed in mobile) at the top of a specified Event category, and which can be easily expanded.

I’d also like to see a good way to deal with Events that happen to be in other Categories / Messages. At present these are consolidated in the /upcoming-events view, but without a topic list. Conversely, they are invisible in the ‘Events category’ calendar.
