A whole bunch of new badges have appeared on my Discourse recently:
We don’t even have chat or voice enabled
(I’m assuming these are chat or voice related)
I don’t really want to manually edit 27 badges to disable them
Is there a way I can hide all of these from the /badges page in one fell swoop?
You can go to the button at the top where it says ‘Group settings’ in /admin/badges, and remove the Voice group.
I did that, so my Voice badges look like this now:
It’ll be gone from the /badges page.
@falco we probably shouldn’t enable these badges by default if the instance doesn’t have voice enabled

Updated my discourse again today.
All the voice badges that I’d previously turned off via the above setting were all back on again.

Further to the above, I removed the Voice group again yesterday when they reappeared after updating as per @NateDhaliwal 's suggestion .
But now I’ve removed it, this bug has now come back:

fiy: i’m working on automatically making plugin badges available based on whether the plugin is enabled or not. there are a lot of caveats, and i haven’t handled all the edge cases just yet, but it’s in the works
