I am so glad to see this! I have long felt that Discourse should be more accessible and “turnkey” for people and this is a huge step in that direction. This along with seeing the monthly “work in progress” newsletter just now has me excited for the future of Discourse. 
Does this starter plan still exist? I don’t see it on the pricing page. I am looking for some more customization than the free tier allows, but as a brand new community I am not ready for the $100/mo plan either.
No, it is now a legacy plan. We’ll continue to support existing customers on the Starter plan, but it is no longer available to others.
The Free plan has taking its place as our entry point on our hosting for Discourse.
