# 500 Errors while using meta

I notice difficulty uploading media to meta (stuck on 100% for a while) and difficulty in selecting category drop-down in composer in my instance.
Could these issues be linked?

Did you use search?
I reported errors after searching here on Meta three days ago, and I still see them after using search.

no, didn’t use search when these errors were appearing today
haven’t seen them appear recently but media upload isn’t working still

I was also encountering this problem with image uploads yesterday. I had to cancel uploading and re-upload to make it work.
