I hate to say it, I hadn’t considered the end-users in this equation, only my own usability.

Yes, I’ve tried to tackle a lot of niche userbase from gamer/entertainment to the business and entrepreneurs. Whereas they’ll have desktop widgets in app that connect to other applications they use daily while using discourse.

@Falco This doesn’t showcase fully what I’ve done but you can get a general idea.
The bridge; connecting audio of a few to many, with optional integration to discourse events.
Sadly this won’t be multi-forum capable and only single forum, as there’s too much legal work to be done to offer such. But the bridge will keep discourse rate limits down as a central focus.

I’ve taken a lot of thought about legal, security and compliance of running a multi forum app client. The cumulation of 9 months of review, audit and testing.
Communities who are selfhosted will have the ability to connect opt-in and opt-out in seconds, with a few perks for enlisting 
For the managed hosted discourse group forums, whereas third-party plugins are not supported I also built the same process via a secure web channel, with opt-in, opt-out and also with block, if you wish to disable front-end users to never list your forum community in the app, you can do so without filing a DMCA notice.

It’s been a minute since i’ve shared on here but just letting everyone know the project is still alive and well.
Reworked push notifications so all forums which can install the plugin can have their own push without overlap for other forums their logged into.
I’ve reworked the earlier audiorooms which was an early fork of @Falco Resenha.
I decided to do a complete rewrite, as a radio powered application, with a live reactions, link to discourse events and topic creation, reworked the live streaming controls and made options for horizontal and vertical streaming, also went from sidebar to a dock that harbors the discourse chat style on desktop and mobile, the native macos, ios, ipados and android still have their same native integrations.
Lastly I’ve redone the Explore Directory and made it simpler to have users find communities globally. As one can select forums based on region, category, verified, favorites, or personally added as forum owners will be able to opt-in and select their desired location and category.
The plugins will be made available first for sysaru web then sysaru app and sysaru mac will be rolled out this month while sysaru ios/ipad/android will roll out once approved by the respective stores.
Hoping it will all be live before my birthday in September so I can say yes it’s done.

This is the native app I see the most future for; there were many abandoned cases with issues that I understand you have overcome.
Kudos! Let’s hope it gets published soon so we can test it thoroughly and contribute in whatever way we can.

Native Discourse Voice Supported Added.
When using mesh you’ll be prompted that it’s web only.
When using livekit. it will work as normal
Sysaru Vox will still be available with more advance options on web and in app.
However I’ve re-worked a companion app for native Discourse Voice which will allow live streaming while using Discourse Voice, the active watercooler conversation below with the livestream preview of watercooler voice stream above.
