# Ability to add tags when moving post to new topic

When moving a post from an existing topic into a new topic, it would be useful to be able to choose tags for the new topic at the same time as choosing its category. At the moment, it requires editing the new topic to add them later.

Not a big deal, but it would be a handy facility to have.

I agree this would be nice. We move post to new topics all the time at Stonehearth, and have to go in and add tags after the move.

Sure if tags are enabled, there should be a space to enter tags in this dialog @neil.

Yes, when moving posts to a new topic we allow tags to be added optionally if they are enabled.
