# Ability to connect with OAuth providers when user is registered?

We’re looking into supporting [Patreon OAuth login](https://meta.discourse.org/t/is-there-some-sort-of-plugin-for-patreon-contributors/42389). This would be very good for that. Patreon isn’t really the sort of platform that you’ll naturally _sign up_ to a site with, but you’ll definitely want to _add it_ once you learn that connecting with your Patreon account can grant you some perks.

Same goes for [Reddit’s OAuth](https://meta.discourse.org/t/reddit-oauth-api-support/21939), which doesn’t share emails.
