# Ability to flag a user directly

Like how we have flags for topics, we can also have flags for users. I think this will be easier for the moderators and staff so that they can review the user and see all their posts. If it is deemed that they require suspension or silencing, it could be done with the flag of a user, rather than the flag of all the posts. Many forums have had issues where people are being disruptive on every single one of their posts. It’s better to flag the entire user then rather flagging everything else

No, this is not possible, and not on any of our roadmaps.
If someone is doing something inappropriate, flag _what they did_.
The only reasonable counter-argument for this is spam user profiles, but we already have _so_ many protections in place for that including automatic Akismet scanning of new user profiles.
