# Able to edit other peoples topics?

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but here on Meta I appear to be able to modify other users subject lines - for example I added an extra “t” to [https://meta.discourse.org/t/read-only-banner-should-floatt/26315/1](https://meta.discourse.org/t/read-only-banner-should-floatt/26315/1)

As a ‘Regular’ user, you are granted certain privileges including the one you mentioned.

> - access a private “frequent flier’s lounge” category only visible to users at trust level 3 and higher

There is no such thing as “edit everyone else’s posts” unless you are manually promoted to tl4, or manually made an admin or moderator.
Or the post is made a wiki then any TL1 user or above can edit it.
