# /about shows inflated post count

Hello,

We launched a Discourse instance yesterday and have found that the post count on our /about page is extremely inflated at 800+. You can see it [here](https://community.openravel.com/about).

Our admin dashboard shows a more accurate number at under 200 total so far:

Has anybody else had this issue?

The post count on /about reflects posts in PMs as well as posts in public topics.

For example, here on Meta:

```plaintext
[1] pry(main)> Post.count
=> 555261

```
