Access Denied when clicking on a /t/id link

I believe this used to work, but just stumbled across this bug today…
For some reason, shortening a topic url to http://site.com/t/123 seems to break the site when clicking on it from within discourse:

https://meta.discourse.org/t/41842/?source_topic_id=47798

Whereas the url still works when typing/pasting it directly into a browser.

Can confirm. Interestingly opening in a new tab (Ctrl + clicking or right clicking) does work.

Not entirely sure this should work let’s ask @eviltrout tomorrow.

AFAIK the router needs a “slug” (normally the dasherized topic title) eg.

https://meta.discourse.org/t/slug/41842/

Exactly. We’re just being more clever server-side than client-side
