# Accessing a user's chat activity

hi @rishabh , hope you and your team are doing great! ^^ do you know if i can check user’s chat activity (e.g. chat message read, chat message sent) on the admin page?
or maybe an active member ranking in a specific chat channel?

For the active member ranking, cross-linking a similar question brought up at [Include Chat stats in Discourse Yearly Review](https://meta.discourse.org/t/include-chat-stats-in-discourse-yearly-review/229302).
At the moment, your best bet is to write a custom [Discourse Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/data-explorer-plugin/32566) query to fetch activity and present it in the way you want. If you want to show this list to more than admins, you could share the query with specific groups as a report (but be careful about the data you share):
