Hmm does that actually work? In my experience touching Plugin::Instance after initialize doesn’t go well.
It does, we use it in several places inside after_initialize, for example:
The main issue is that other plugins or core cannot access the prepended method. In this case, the method is only accessed by the same plugin, later in the lifecycle.

Can you share the full backtrace from the failing build? I suspect something else is loading PrettyText before PrecompileBundle is available.
Please also share the core Discourse and ActivityPub commit hashes used by that build.

I apologize. The problem was on my end. My old mentions plugin was the culprit. Maybe I was too hasty when I enabled and disabled the plugins while searching for the bug’s cause.
