# Actor not discoverable on other sites

Hi,

The state of one of my forum actors, which I created a long time ago with a version of the plugin that was incompatible with my Discourse, seems invalid. Whenever I try to search for it in Mastodon, it can’t find it. The other ones I created with the recent installation are all working fine.

Is there a way to diagnose that actor? Or maybe reset it to a valid state? Everything seems fine according to the UI, but something is definitely not working as expected.

Hey @pepicrft could you share all of the settings of the actor? What is the publication type of the actor?
