If the answer is that there are settings to remove the banner based on trust level (and also for staff) then fine. Still, it would be useful to know, if possible, please. 🙂

Hi! I was looking for something like this. Maybe a “close” or “hide” button. It would be really useful for users who have already seen the banner, but don’t want to lose it, just hide it a bit for a cleaner homepage 🤓

I’ve added a setting that allows the banner to be dismissed 🎉
After updating the component you’ll have access to a `can be dismissed` theme setting. When enabled you’ll be able to click the `x` to hide the banner.
Note that this utilizes browser localStorage, so the dismissal is per-browser. So if you dismiss it on desktop you’ll also need to dismiss it on mobile (this is a limitation with how themes work).
