# Add ability to withdraw a vote

It seems that there is no way to withdraw a vote once a vote has been cast. In the case of voting for a requested features on a product, it seems important for users to be able to freely assign their votes so they are able to update their preferences based on the current development focus.

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your request, but you can easily remove you vote from a topic. Simply click on `Voted`, then `X Remove vote`

You understood correctly, i simply missed that option. Might need to be a bit clearer then.

If the option seems easily missed, a suggested improvement would be great. Even better would be a UI mockup.

There is no way to make this more discoverable that is not obnoxious imo.

For me the confusion came from the fact that the button looked “disabled” once a vote was cast.
