coming in in 2026 to +1 this feature, especially now that the FAQ/Guidelines change is going in.
I did the FAQ URL trick to link to the topic I would want to make a page for and just changed the name of the FAQ text.
The main draw of the page area is the fact that all the links are above the text and clickable (About β Guidelines β FAQ β TOS β Privacy) vs if you use the FAQ link trick, it will navigate you to the forum thread and youβll have to navigate back to the About page to get back to that area. (Which is the intended workflow since itβs supposed to link to an external FAQ! So no problem with it doing that. Just not as friendly of a UX when you want to stay on site.)
The workaround is totally doable as a replacement vs doing a plugin/theme component to accomplish the same thing, but it would be nice if there was support for even just a single additional page that you might want to put in that area ![]()
