# Add "in:title" modifier to advanced search

Use-case: find all topics that contain **poll** token in the title.

Search:

> poll in:title

I think this would work better as

> in\_title:poll

> in\_title:“advanced search”

gmail uses “subject:blah”… maybe “title:blah” would be the closest analog?

I assumed

> title:foo category:“my category”

would search only within titles in the given category and was surprised it was a missing feature from Discourse. Google led me to this topic, so I’m adding my +1 for adding support for

> title:foo
> 
> title:“foo bar”

to the advanced search feature.
