# Add interface preferences to individually hide Suggested and Related topics

Hi!

I’d like to suggest adding two optional interface preferences that allow users to hide the topic lists shown at the bottom of every topic.

Instead of a single setting, I think it would be more flexible to let users disable them individually:

- ☑ Hide Suggested topics
- ☑ Hide Related topics

These would be **client-side** preferences under **Preferences → Interface** , affecting only the current user’s experience.

### Why this would be useful

- Gives users more control over the interface.
- Reduces visual clutter for those who don’t use these sections.
- Some users may want to keep **Related** topics while hiding **Suggested** topics (or vice versa), so separate preferences provide more flexibility.
- It only changes the UI for the individual user and doesn’t affect the site’s configuration.
