# Adding Undo edit post capability

I post something. Then I edit it. Then I change my mind and want to revert the edit: I think there should be an easy way to do this.

Does this really come up enough to justify a whole new feature?
I am more sympathetic to reverting to an arbitrary prior version, for wiki posts.

I think it would be nifty and appealing, but not vital or necessary, if there were a way to revert a post to the first version. Maybe even a button in the revision history pages to restore it to that version, but I think just to the first would be a fairly interesting feature. There has been a time or two that I decided to fiddle with a post and then wished I hadn’t. Again, cool but not essential.
I totally agree about the wiki thing.

Very much this. It can be done manually with C’n’P but this is not elegant at all
