# Additional filetypes for staff

I need to allow administrators to upload a specific type of file, such as .bat, .cmd, and others. For ordinary users need to disable it. How can i do it?

I dont believe you can - the only way to do it would be to add it as an authorized extension - upload the file then remove it from the settings after.
Looks like it may be going into version 2.0

Update, use the site setting `authorized extensions for staff` to add special authorized extensions for staff 🎊
