# Admin panel messed up after changing the domain name

I have followed the guide [Change the domain name or rename your Discourse](https://meta.discourse.org/t/change-the-domain-name-or-rename-my-discourse/16098) to change the domain name for my discourse. Everything went so smooth and website is running apart from the admin panel look. The top menu buttons from the admin panel are converted into the strange Text. For example my “Users” button is changed to \* [[en\_GB.admin.users.title]]" I need help why this happened after domian change.

Good news - I don’t think it was because of your rename as I’m seeing the same here: 🙂

A fix is in the works, and as soon as it’s live, an update should solve this. 👍

Fixed in [FIX: Extra-locale merging didn't account for fallbacks by cvx · Pull Request #17128 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/17128).

You’ll be able to update once this commit hits [`tests-passed` branch](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commits/tests-passed). 🙂
