One very minor point. Coming from a marketing background myself, I’ve always strived to avoid the term “traffic”, and use the more human “visitors” instead. I’m well aware the jargon uses “traffic”, in the same style as “foot traffic” (or footfall). But perhaps it doesn’t need to be.
Hey @martin - I totally agree. I am just catching up on this new feature. @fsasaki and I were talking about this and I want to make sure that this is truly a Staff only feature. I can’t truly test this if the Everyone group is being used. This should really only be a feature that is available to designated groups. Please let me know when a Staff only option is available for this dashboard testing. Thank you!
Hi @Michelle_L , in this case the Everyone option is just a misleading label. If you turn on this upcoming change to Everyone, it will still only affect staff because only staff can access the admin UI.
I haven’t gotten around to it yet but this is why I want us to be able to say that certain upcoming changes only have the Staff and No One options, because presenting Everyone doesn’t make sense in cases like the admin UI where Everyone can’t see it anyway.
@Michelle_L , I just merged a change to make this clearer:
Once this is on your site, the reporting improvements upcoming change will only have No one, Staff and Specific groups options like so:
